Driving schools in Raheny

Raheny is a village on the Howth Road in Dublin 5, between Killester and Sutton, with St Anne's Park on one side and the sea on the other. It is one of the easier places on the north side to start, because the village is close to the RSA test centre at Killester, a couple of kilometres back along the Howth Road, and the surrounding streets cover most of what a learner needs. The Howth Road through the village is a single carriageway with parked cars, a pedestrian crossing at the shops and a right turn into Station Road that catches people out. The All Saints Road and the Watermill Road are wide and quiet, and the estates of Edenmore and Grange Park are 30 km/h with ramps. The James Larkin Road along the coast gives faster driving with a cycle track beside it. Traffic builds at Raheny Cross from mid-afternoon and the Howth Road is slow into the city in the morning. Raheny has a DART station in the village, with Harmonstown and Kilbarrack minutes away, and buses to the city centre run along the Howth Road and the James Larkin Road.
