Dublin is divided into postal districts 1 to 24, and the county around them

Odd numbers are north of the Liffey and even numbers south of it, with Dublin 6W the one exception, and the numbers grow roughly as you move away from the centre: Dublin 1 and 2 are the city centre, Dublin 15 is Blanchardstown, Dublin 24 is Tallaght. Beyond the districts come the towns of Fingal to the north (Swords, Malahide, Balbriggan), Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown to the south-east (Dún Laoghaire, Blackrock, Dalkey) and South Dublin to the south-west (Lucan, Clondalkin). Because most driving schools have no premises, an area here means an area a school says it covers on its own website, and one school can appear under several.

Each area page lists the schools covering it, full profiles first, then the nearest RSA test centres: Killester for the north-east, Finglas and Maple House for the north, Mulhuddart for Dublin 15, Leixlip for the west, Tallaght for the south-west and Deansgrange for the south-east. If your area is not listed yet, no school has told us it covers it; the nearest listed area or the test centre page is the next best place to look.
