Driving schools in Dublin 11

Dublin 11 is Finglas, Ballymun, Glasnevin North and Jamestown, the north-west city between the N2 and the Ballymun Road. Learners here have the Finglas Road and the Ballymun Road, both wide and busy with bus lanes and large junctions, the roundabouts at Charlestown and the M50 junctions, and the long straight of St Margaret's Road where the limit changes often and speed cameras are common. Inside the estates of Finglas West and Finglas South the roads are narrow, ramped and 30 km/h, with cars parked on footpaths. Ballymun's main street was rebuilt with wide lanes and many pedestrian crossings. Two RSA test centres are inside or beside the district: Finglas, in Jamestown Business Park off the Finglas Road, and Mulhuddart Maple House, a short drive along St Margaret's Road to the west, with Mulhuddart itself a little further on. That makes Dublin 11 a common base for schools from the whole north side. There is no rail, but buses to the city centre leave from Finglas village and the Ballymun Road every few minutes, and the N2 gives quick access to the M50.
