Driving schools in Dublin 9

Dublin 9 is Drumcondra, Glasnevin, Santry, Whitehall and Beaumont, the district that stretches from the Royal Canal out to the airport roundabouts. It has three faces for a learner. The first is the arterial roads: the Drumcondra Road and Swords Road with bus lanes and the Dublin Airport traffic, and the Collins Avenue, a long, wide road with many junctions and pedestrian lights near the schools. The second is the quiet grids of Glasnevin and Whitehall, 30 km/h streets where early lessons happen. The third is the Santry end, where the Swords Road meets the M50 and the M1 at Coolock Lane and Santry roundabout, which schools use once you are ready for faster merging and lane changes. Beaumont Hospital adds steady traffic around Beaumont Road. The nearest RSA test centres are Killester to the east, a short drive down Collins Avenue, and Finglas to the west. Drumcondra has a train station and the Swords Road carries some of the most frequent buses to the city centre, so a pick-up on a main road is easy to arrange.
