Driving schools in Dublin 14

Dublin 14 is Dundrum, Churchtown, Clonskeagh, Windy Arbour and Goatstown, the hilly middle of the south county. Learners here deal with gradients from the first lesson. The roads around Churchtown and Nutgrove climb and dip, and hill starts at junctions on Braemor Road or Taney Road are a routine part of the day. Dundrum village and the roads around the shopping centre are congested most of the day, with a one-way system, bus stops and the Luas bridge overhead, so schools tend to stay in the estates off Ballinteer Road and Churchtown Road for the basic moves. The Dundrum bypass and the Goatstown Road are 50 km/h with bus lanes, and the N11 is a few minutes east at Stillorgan. Most of the housing is in 30 km/h zones. The Luas Green line stops at Windy Arbour, Dundrum and Balally, and buses run through Churchtown and Clonskeagh to the city. The nearest test centre is Dún Laoghaire/Deansgrange, about 5 km east down the Kilmacud Road and past Stillorgan, and the roads around it have the same mix of estates and dual carriageway that learners meet in Dundrum.
