Driving test at Deansgrange: schools that prepare you
The Dún Laoghaire centre, which everyone calls Deansgrange, is on Pottery Road and serves the whole south-east coast: Dún Laoghaire, Blackrock, Stillorgan, Foxrock, Cabinteely, Dalkey and Killiney, plus Dundrum and Sandyford on the inland side. It has had the highest pass rate of the Dublin centres in recent RSA figures, and the roads around it are a mix of suburban avenues and the N11.

Deansgrange is a car test centre on the south-east side: what its roads are like
Pottery Road and Kill Lane are typical south Dublin suburban roads: 50 km/h limits, speed ramps, school gates and parked cars. Tests often reach the N11 dual carriageway for a stretch of faster driving, then come back through Deansgrange, Foxrock or Cabinteely for the manoeuvres. The Deansgrange crossroads and the junctions on the Kill Avenue are regular spots for right turns.
