Driving schools in Dublin 3

Dublin 3 is Clontarf, Fairview, Marino and East Wall, the stretch of the north city that runs along the bay from the docks to the Bull Wall. The Clontarf Road and the Howth Road are the two roads every learner here gets to know: long, mostly straight, with bus lanes, a cycle track along the seafront and right turns into the side roads of Marino and Killester. Behind them are 30 km/h residential grids with parked cars on both sides, good for clutch control and mirror checks. Fairview is the pinch point, where the Malahide Road, the Howth Road and the Clontarf Road meet at a set of lights that back up at school times and most evenings. The Port Tunnel entrance at East Wall brings heavy goods traffic onto the Alfie Byrne Road. The RSA test centre at Killester sits inside the district, just off the Howth Road, so a school based here will know those roads well. Clontarf Road and Killester have DART stations and there are frequent buses to the city centre, so lessons can start from home or from a station.
