Driving schools in Dublin 7

Dublin 7 is Phibsborough, Cabra, Stoneybatter, Smithfield and the Navan Road, a wedge of the north-west city between the Phoenix Park and the North Circular Road. Driving here mixes narrow Victorian streets with cars parked nose to tail, the Luas Green Line crossing at Phibsborough and Cabra, and the Navan Road itself, a wide arterial road with bus lanes that leads to the N3 and the M50. The North Circular Road is a long test of lane discipline and right turns across traffic, and the Phoenix Park gates at the Cabra Road and Blackhorse Avenue give you roundabouts and a 30 km/h limit inside the park. Most of the residential streets are 30 km/h. Traffic on the Cabra Road and the Old Cabra Road is slow at school times and at rush hour. The RSA test centre at Finglas is the nearest, about four kilometres north along the Finglas Road, with Killester the alternative to the east. Cabra and Phibsborough have Luas stops, Broombridge has trains, and buses to the city centre run along every main road in the district.
