Driving schools in Lusk

Lusk is a village in north Fingal just inside the M1, between Swords and Rush, with a round tower and a new ring of estates around the old centre. For learners it has quiet roads and a fast road side by side. The village itself is small, with a short Main Street, a one-way section by the church and parking that fills during the school run. The estates at Rathmore, Dun Emer and Chapel Farm are 30 km/h with roundabouts and plenty of space for turning in the road and reversing. The R132 and the M1 junction at Lusk are minutes away, so motorway entry and exit and 100 km/h driving can be part of a lesson without a long trip. The Lusk Road to Rush and the Skerries Road are rural, with bends and no footpaths. The nearest RSA test centres are Finglas and Mulhuddart Maple House, about twenty kilometres south using the M1 and the M50, and most schools here plan a few lessons on the roads around whichever one you book. Rush and Lusk station on the Belfast commuter line is at the edge of the village, and buses to the city centre run along the R132.
