Driving schools in Dublin 18

Dublin 18 is Foxrock, Cabinteely, Carrickmines, Stepaside, Sandyford and part of Leopardstown, the south-eastern corner of the county between the N11 and the mountains. It has changed a lot in twenty years. Sandyford has become a business district with wide new roads, a Luas terminus and the M50 interchange, while Foxrock and Cabinteely keep their quiet, well-kept residential roads where a learner can practise without much traffic. Stepaside and Carrickmines have newer estates with roundabouts and 30 km/h limits throughout. The Leopardstown Road and the Brewery Road are 50 km/h and busy at peak times, and the N11 at Cornelscourt is a fast dual carriageway with slip roads. Cabinteely village is small and tight. Buses run along the N11 to the city centre and through Sandyford to Dundrum, and the Luas Green line stops at Sandyford, Stillorgan, Glencairn and Carrickmines. The nearest test centre is Dún Laoghaire/Deansgrange, about 3 km north-east of Foxrock by Kill Lane, and the roads around it are of exactly the kind found across Dublin 18: estates, a dual carriageway and a few busy village junctions.
