Driving schools in Dublin 24

Dublin 24 is Tallaght and the districts around it, Firhouse, Kilnamanagh, Old Bawn, Jobstown, Kingswood and Citywest, the largest postal district on the south side. It is where many Dublin learners end up sitting their test, because the Tallaght test centre is in the Broomhill industrial estate on the eastern side of the district. The roads reflect that. Around the Square and the hospital the layout is a ring of dual carriageways and large signalised junctions, and the N81 Tallaght bypass and the Belgard Road are fast, wide and heavy with buses and trucks at peak times. Off those roads the estates in Kilnamanagh, Old Bawn and Aylesbury are quiet, with 30 km/h limits, parked cars and tight corners that suit the manoeuvres. Firhouse and Old Bawn climb towards the mountains, so hill starts come up often. The Luas Red line runs from Tallaght and Saggart through the district to the city, and buses run from the Square to the centre and to Clondalkin. The test centre at Broomhill Road is within a couple of kilometres of most of Dublin 24, and schools based here naturally spend a lot of time on the roads around Greenhills and Belgard.
