Driving test at Tallaght: schools that prepare you

Tallaght is a car test centre on the south-west side: what its roads are like

Broomhill Road sits in an industrial estate beside the Greenhills Road and the Belgard Road, so the first minutes of a test are usually on wide, fast dual carriageways with large signalised junctions and roundabouts. The Tallaght bypass, the N81 and the slip roads to the M50 can feature. For the manoeuvres, examiners turn into the estates around Kilnamanagh, Tymon and Old Bawn, where the roads are narrower and parked cars are the main hazard.
